The clipping service of modern type was started in 1939 - the very first in Japan, following the processes of America and European countries.
Naigai Pressclipping Bureau, Ltd. (NPC) is a member of the Federation Internationale des Bureaux d
fExtraits de Presse, Paris, formed by nearly fifty leading clipping agencies in the world. In 1972, it entered into a business tieup with The Mainichi Newspapers, Tokyo, one of the world's largest newspaper publishers, on the occasion of its centenary.Now, you can know things in Japan thoroughly as far as stories and ads of newspapers and periodicals are concerned.
NPC reads practically all Japanese newspapers and magazines published by members of the Japan Newspaper Publishers & Editors Association, the Japan Business Newspaper Publishers Association, the Japan Magazine Publishers Association and many others issued by independent publishers in Japan totaling nearly one thousand.
Publications are classified into groups in order to help the clients specify just the group(s) they want, as follows :
